welcome to Govt. Higher Secondary School, Borguli


The staff and the students of Govt. Higher Secondary School, Borguli is very much delighted on the launching of the School website. It is a dream comes true for us. Although we have no Internet connection and telephone line in our School till now. But somehow we managed it to access globally.
It is our little endeavor to cop up with the Modern Technology.

It is the harbinger of new era in our School History.Through this site, we can peep the World from this remote area. It provides us an opportunity to know some of our achievement status, inputs and feedbacks.

In this site, we have fed the data relating to infra structure, enrollment of students, staff strength, student activities, examination schedules and results.

The Govt. Hr.Secondary School Borguli was established in 1956 as a Primary School. The School was upgraded to Middle School in the year 1972 and again upgraded to Secondary School in 1990. The School building was washed away by the devastated flood of the Siang river in 11th June 2000. For this reason, information about the School beyond the year 2000 is not available to us. The present site is a shifted one of its original site but in vicinity of the same village. It attains Senior Secondary School in 2009. It is the lone apex institution of Monggu Banggo Block under the Mebo Circle of East Siang District Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh. The School is teaching classes from class IX to XII

Despite of being Rural, result of class X and XII are good. Sri George Megu XII got National Scholarship award for securing 95 mark in the National Language in Sr. Secondary examination in 2011.


The institution set a target of imparting best education, creates a sense of responsibility, value based education amongst student. Personality developments are few endeavors of this institution.


The School has endowed with sufficient infrastructure facility, well furnished chambers for Principal and Vice Principal, Staff Common Room and separate office room, there are 18 class rooms, an art and craft room, laboratory room and library room.

The School campus is well fenced; five bachelors break for teachers and play ground.
